Young At Heart

It's never too late to learn
Local legend Tompa Eken getting his first skateboard lesson from young David. There's 57 years between teacher and student. The lesson continued for a few minutes, no real injuries to report. Theme Day. Young At Heart.

Super shot for the theme Steffe but oh my, I'm happy to hear there were no skate board disasters.. some things are better left unlearned 😀

I'd be a bit wary on that, but maybe that's a residual from being clumsy as a kid.

I really like this picture - the first tentative step into the unknown, the identity of the teacher hidden.

Neat capture! This is probably not a good time to wish him luck by saying "Break a leg."

Great photo, I wish him luck. I broke my collarbone riding one years ago and that was the end of my skateboarding days.

Hah! Nice theme day post for "Young at Heart." I would NEVER try that. At my age, things break.
